The last two weeks before school started were a mix of preparing for September and enjoying the remaining downtime. We had indoor pool time, outdoor pool time, stuffed animal playtime, lake time (Boy Scouts), welcome-to-school time, and birthday time. Charlotte's day started with doughnuts for breakfast, gifts (much excitement about the hatchimal), Chick-Fil-A lunch, a visit to a new playground, then friends over for cake. It was pretty perfect.
