Weeks 24 & 25: Summer fun

We are rounding out a super busy June. Of course we had to see Captain Underpants, in 3D no less. They loved it.

Zach attended cub scout day camp. It is a lot of back and forth that week, but the kids enjoy getting out of the house. The scouts swim every day, practice bb guns, learn stuff, and do crafts. Gabe and Charlotte love playing on the playground every day before we head back home.

We traveled to Ohio for Mia's birthday. Always a fun weekend when we see them.

We always enjoy the annual family day at Frank's work.

Zach in his "corner." He's been spending lots of time on YouTube, and is so excited about those new shoes.

Charlotte was the best dental patient (no surprise). She opened up as soon as she hopped in the chair!

And then Frank and I escaped to Las Vegas. More photos of that to come!

Weeks 22 & 23: School's out, painting, and House of Cards

Those three things consumed our last two weeks. Frank and I watched the new season (13 episodes), the kids adjusted to their increased free time, and I managed to prep and paint my office mostly while the kids were at home. It is now grey and clean and waiting for new bookcases.

The kids have enjoyed helping me shop, playing outside, going to movies and the pool, reading, and of course being on the devices for gaming and watching YouTube Kids. The summer has been a little hectic, but so far so good.
