This year's elf photos

Ally was just as busy as we were this month. She managed to find a clever place to hide/spy/play/rest every evening, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed hunting for her every morning.

Weeks 48-50: Celebrations

The mood has been festive and exhausted around here. There's been so much to do:
Zach's birthday
Light Up Night for our town
Christmas Parade (cub scout float)
putting up lights
playing in the snow
decorating the tree
dance
cub scout meetings/parties
Santa Brunch (not pictured)
Frank's birthday
allergy shots
Santa Shop (kids buy items for us at school)
Zach's friend party/sleepover

The cub scouts had a tent at our annual holiday kickoff.

One Cub Scout and one Boy Scout led the Pledge of Allegiance. Zach was chosen and was so honored and excited.

Two days later is the Christmas Parade.

We were happy it warmed up so we could get the lights up.
It was bound to happen: Zach wore two different shoes to school (and I don't know how he couldn't feel the difference).
Gabe making something at one of his meetings.

Enjoying Daddy's birthday gift, an NES classic.

The kids know that mugs are a good gift. This was my haul from Santa shop this year.
Zach had a belated birthday sleepover. I saw an idea that I thought would be as epic as the nether portal at Gabe's party.
Zach loved the floating candles. Mission accomplished.
