So far so good

How things are coming along:


The first room to be rid of boxes, and the first to become a total disaster:


The first room to be clean and semi-organized (although I removed about 10 loads of laundry right before I took these pictures).




The guest rooms? Um, that wing is closed at the moment. Just full of boxes and paper and laundry.


Because we are having so much fun (chaos) at Jen and Andy's, and I probably won't get a chance to say it in a couple days...

Befores

This was the scene around here on Monday, our first full day in the house. Some parts look way worse now because we've started digging into all the boxes looking for stuff. At this rate, we have hopes of being unpacked by Christmas...

Welcome home

Here's the tour. Hope there's not too much shaky-cam for you. And I realize I've chopped Frank's head off in a lot of it, but hey, the emphasis was on the boys...

Full fall so far

So much occurred in October, it's hard to know where to begin.

We explored the Magic House with Grandma, Shaun, and Peggy:


We attended a beautiful wedding and caught up with good friends:


We celebrated the boys' birthdays (a bit early for Zach). Twice!


We went trick-or-treating. Twice! Gotta love having two grandmas in the same town :) Zach likes lots of candies, but Gabe is partial to lollypops, and he doesn't really like chocolate. We got to see a lot of cousin Bailey and hang out with Lisa too.


On October 28th we closed on the house! The last week has been a blur of moving out of the apartment, cleaning, celebrating Halloween, and Frank preparing for delivery of our stuff, which happened yesterday. The boys and I will be home in just a couple of days...
