I honestly don't remember much about what we did last week, except that it was possibly the first week since the new year that there wasn't a snow day. It was the opposite, actually, because I went to the school twice, once for teacher conferences and once for Zach's Valentine's Day party. It finally warmed up enough for us to walk up to the bus stop a couple times. Zach went to a birthday bowling party Saturday evening. And I guess I spent the rest of the week taking photos of Gabe and Charlotte at home.

Week 7: I'll keep her company
Last week was pretty much déjà vu from the week before. Two snow days, Frank shoveling snow, boys playing in snow, Charlotte looking surprised at the camera. You know, the usual. Gabe has been my little helper with Charlotte. When I have to leave the room I tell him to come keep her company until I get back. A few weeks ago he surprised me one morning by telling me "I want to keep her company forever." He sure has his grumpy-pants moments but he has also been incredibly sweet with his little sister. And he continues to tell me he'll keep her company forever.
I put Charlotte in a couple of heart outfits over the course of the week, and to my surprise they really aren't that big on her. Time to dig out every adorable 6-month one she hasn't worn and be sad she's growing too fast. Or have another photo shoot.
Domino's, beer, and Hangover III for Valentine's Day. Totally classy, right?
Running: my training for the sport of motherhood. I'm still getting in those training sessions...
...unfortunately this is usually what I have to look at. Motherhood indeed.

Upset that his nuggets straight from the microwave are too hot. He prefers everything room-temp or cooler.

Week 6: More of the same
Last week we had two snow days, and there was also a day that I picked up Zach in the morning for a stomach ache that was miraculously cured when we got home to Spongebob. Frank dug out our driveway once more, the boys played in the snow, Charlotte is practicing sitting, Zach's using the internet to look up stuff about Blue Monkey's "ancestors," and Gabe is cracking me up with his selfies. Oh, and my birthday was celebrated with deliciously iced store bought cupcakes and a fabulous gift. Here's the proof.

I love that Gabe still asks to sit on my lap.

The snow pants have been a good investment.

Notes for a report about his chosen animal. Blue Monkey got to go to school that day.

Daddy + boys time.

Frank got me a 24-inch monitor to use with my laptop. It's awesome.

Week 5: This little lady
...is five months old! She weighs 17.5 pounds and is waking me up far too often at night to eat. Hopefully this growth spurt will be over before too long. She has cereal every night for dinner and will be starting on veggies soon! I think her eyes are starting to turn hazel. She loves to interact with her brothers and grab Chloe every chance she gets :)
