Lisa knew that she was helping us paint during her visit. Then at the last minute we found out our IKEA order was being delivered a week earlier than expected. It ended up being the best timing, and we spent five days painting and building together. We are so thankful for her help with updating the boys' rooms! All the kids helped too, but Gabe was an especially good companion and builder. We took Zach's room from golden yellow to cyan; it turned out just as he'd imagined it. Gabe's gray room looks good with all the black and white furniture. They now have spacious desks and tall bookshelves to (hopefully) corral their things for a long time. No more doing remote schoolwork here, there, and everywhere!
