2020 week 38: camping, and school continues

At the end of the first week of school, the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts went camping. It was supposed to be a farewell to the camp that was under contract to be sold, but to the happiness of generations of local scouts, the deal fell apart. So the saga with this particular property continues, and I'm sure we have more weekends there in our future. It seems everyone enjoyed themselves.

Charlotte and I spent the weekend relaxing. We tried on her dance costumes to check sizing (we hope to have the recital next summer), she came to Saturday morning Zumba with me, and then we had a movie night and slept on the couch.

During their second week of school (still in-person one day each) we began the remote work on iPads, reading, watching videos from teachers, and submitting photos of worksheets and workbook pages. Errands took us to the mall, and the kids played in the arcade. We were happy to knock out a bunch of to-do's and cleaning tasks, because on Friday Lisa arrived to stay the week with us!
