Weeks 18 & 19: What can I say?

These kids are awesome and awfully nuts. Here are the last two weeks in photos.
Teacher appreciation.
After the kids were in bed: "You know what sounds really good?"

Dentist
She loves her pretzels.
Texas Roadhouse. Based on behavior and eating we will not be taking them back any time soon. Even though they all love the peanuts.
Gabe: "Mommy, can you take a picture of this?"

Frank went to D.C.

At home with me (Tuesday was election day). I made them fold their own laundry.

"Mom" day

Last week is still a bit of a blur, but here's our yesterday. Breakfast in bed. Gifts: a potholder from Gabe and a funny illustrated book about me from Zach. Charlotte saying "mom" now, and pointing out me, or anyone else she assumes is a mom, in pictures. Frank and the boys went shopping for flowers, and helped him plant them, until they got too interested in a new bubble blower. Then all three kids were fighting over using it and got sent to quiet/nap time. So I said to Frank, "Why don't you just a take a photo of me with my flowers?" Maybe we'll try for a group shot another time.

Week 17: Tennis, tomatoes, and "Cheese!"

We're gearing up for our busiest week yet, with all the appointments, meetings, parties, activities/classes we can possibly fit into 7 days. Here's a super quick glance at last week!

This is the time of year we get around to steaming the carpets...even Charlotte is enjoying how clean they are.

Zach started tennis lessons at school, which runs for the month of May. We always have to find ways to keep the other two occupied.

Babysitting swap/play date

Zach and I enjoyed our first 5K. It was a fundraiser for the PTA.

I started some tomato plants...we'll see how they do this year. Charlotte saw me with the camera and inserted herself in the shoot :)

And another instance of "Cheese!!"

Week 16: Tired and more tired

1. It seems like no matter how much sleep we get, it's never enough.
2. I've taken more video lately (and almost no pics last week) because Charlotte's been talking so much.
3. We're counting "laying on the floor while the kids climb on us" as quality time, ha!

Week 15: Charlotte

A week in the life of this silly girl: playing, snuggling, exercising, picking flowers, and tickling me (and talking!). Also a whole lot of laughing :)

Week 14: A little bit of everything

Apparently we did a lot last week. Granted, most of the photos I took were from Zach's last basketball game (and most were deleted). Sometimes I don't even realize how many photos I've taken here and there, but they turn into a lovely little time capsule of us. Here's just some of what was captured, the best and funniest, of course!

Sunday: Barnes & Noble. They were poring over a Pokemon book.

When we saw a sign for a grand opening near our bookstore and Chili's, we knew we had to go. Alas, no peeps stuffed animals were found. We did walk away with a bunch of freebies: marbles for Gabe, a squishy eyeball toy for Zach, and Five Below t-shirts for all the kids.

Gabe and his marbles.

Chili's. We got the triple berry crumble cake with an extra scoop of ice cream for dessert :)

Monday: Zach's basketball practice and game.

Last game = medals.

Wednesday: I found out later in the day that Charlotte had been practicing her fine motor and counting skills with the remaining peanut butter cups in our stash. We need a lock for the pantry.

Zach went to a dinosaur exhibit at our rec center with cub scouts.

Thursday: Charlotte waited by the door for her speech therapist in a new Sophia shirt.

Friday: I discovered the Star Wars tsum tsums at Target. I bought a few for one of Zach's friends as a birthday gift.

And one came home to join Gabe's animal gang. He told me a few times over the weekend how he was having so much fun with his little R2-D2.

Saturday: Frank was sick, I was doing stuff around the house, Charlotte was "helping" me or watching TV, and the boys spent lots of time on the tablets.

And it snowed all day Saturday (but didn't amount to much). I went to Zumba in the morning, but the rest of the day I was happy to stay in.
