December

December was a little more staying in and hanging out.

return from traveling * high school high GPA awards for both boys * Gabe auditioned for All-State Band * Christmas parade (middle schoolers will never dress warmly enough) * snow days/school delays every week leading up to winter break * middle school concert * new guitar * lots of cat snuggles * New Year's Eve with friends over

November

November was just as busy as October.

Zach and his friends took every opportunity to get together for poker or Dungeons and Dragons, beginning with a Halloween party where most were dressed as Batman villains.

Charlotte and the Girl Scouts held a few events, including a costumed nursing home visit, a dinner to honor veterans, and marching in the Veterans Day parade.

The high school band also marched in the parade, marched at the mall to bring in Santa, performed in their annual band review concert, and had a couple more football games to finish off the season.

Then we flew to visit family. Airport adventuring, arcade and go-karting, saw a movie, dinners out, road-tripping, reunion, Zach's birthday, cave hiking, and hanging out with aunts, uncles, and cousins.
