Where I want to start

...is all the way back at Thanksgiving (well, before really). I just hate skipping anything, even if it's been utterly too long since I've even looked at the photos on my computer. We took our first family trip on an airplane in quite a while and we had a blast. Seeing people, eating out, playing, relaxing, spending our time well. Here are a bunch of pics from that trip:
Laying out what he wanted to pack.

Their beloved Chuck E. Cheese.

Enjoying Grandpa's bedtime stories (about two other little boys he knew).

This wasn't even all the people who attended the reunion, much less the entire family.

Zach took lots of photos, too!

Even with all his other trains, Gabe just loves those ones from the cake.

Lots of kids and lots of gifts! Thank you, everyone :)
In love with the piƱatas.
Boat ride on the Pecos River to see all the Christmas lights.

The siblings.

A very, very good trip.
Then we came home, and three weeks somehow turned into three hours and it was Christmas. It is just a blur of unpacking, finishing up shopping, making and mailing cards, and packing again. Oh, and during that time we realized probably our biggest goal since moving into the house: our fence was completed. No time to think, let alone blog, we were hopping in the car to drive our next trip.

Reading the Sunday paper is a family affair. Zach likes the comics and Gabe likes the toy ads.

I only took a handful of photos on Christmas.

Over Christmas week there was a lot of adorable-ness and a lot of sickness. Let's forever focus on the first and just forget the rest.

Back home again, and I feel like I am hibernating. That is, if hibernating involved eating every hour. Frank re-injured his back, so he's trying to take it easy too. And we're desperately trying to stave off the boys' cabin fever all the while. Fun times. Let's hope for more energy in February. We hope you've enjoyed the recap.
