Project 365: Weeks 45-47!

Whew! I'm happy to be caught up. I wish I could say that a lot happened over the last three weeks to keep me away from blogging, but not really. It was a little stress, a little sickness, and a lot of tiredness. It rained for about 10 days straight (with heavy storms for 3 of those), which was enough to give anyone seasonal affective disorder. And we obviously find ourselves a bit distracted by moving and job stuff...posting photos just wasn't a priority.

This is the quilt I made and gave to Abby and Loic for their wedding back in 2003, a few months before Frank and I got our first digital camera. I'm happy they display it and even happier that I got a chance to photograph it again.

Brown Monkey has been following Blue Monkey around lately. Sometimes Zach calls it a "her" (as in "Where is her?"), which I think is because it reminds him of Maggie and her brown monkey. When we got Brown Monkey from Kevin we intended it to be Gabe's, but now it is only Gabe's when Zach says it's okay. Gabe is fine with that arrangement.

Gabe just loves to get back to the power strip and switch it off and on. You can see that I've even tried to block it with boxes of diapers.


Monday, November 15
A huge stack of recipes ripped from magazines. The Thanksgiving ones I was looking for were right on top, because it's one of the only times of year that I actually reference recipes ripped from magazines. Over last week I was able to go through the stack, though, and get rid of a bunch and put them all in a binder.

Monday, October 18
Dinner. We rely on frozen pizzas about once a week, and on this day I think we didn't eat until the boys were in bed (and I didn't know what else to take a picture of).


Tuesday, October 19
It's getting colder! Zach wanted to go out and play, but we didn't stay outside for too long.


Wednesday, October 20
I was going to save this til the end of the month, but this was the only picture I took that day. I'm participating in a scrapbooking challenge to complete a layout a day during October and post them on Flickr. I've actually been able to keep up with it thus far... Click here if you want to see.

The scene was absolutely hilarious. Zach was helping Frank put together a stepstool and he was sooooooo excited about it. I should have taken video instead of pictures, actually. But he is really into Handy Manny and building things right now, so watching him help and hearing him ask for the screwdriver was cracking me up. Then Gabe and Monkey got to help too!


This weekend was big for walking! I've got video that I'll post if I can get some stuff to work on my computer...maybe when Frank gets home. Stay tuned.
