November to remember:
Still more band! They once again marched through our mall to bring in Santa. It is a bit chaotic but really fun. They also marched in a Veterans Day Parade and held a concert to showcase all of the marching season music. And the regular football season usually wraps up after the first week or so, but our team was killing it and continued to win playoff games...
The Girl Scouts put on a dinner to honor local (and familial) veterans, and also marched in the Veterans Day Parade.
I traveled to OWU to meet Jen and celebrate the 100th anniversary of our sorority on campus.
Other things at home: cleaning and moving things around to put the current couch in the basement and put together a new one. Everyone loves it, including the cats. And we had a quiet Thanksgiving at home, with lots of food that everyone helped prepare. We ended the month by seeing Wicked in the theater with many other band families. We were already excited about the music from hearing it in the field show week after week, and the movie did not disappoint!
