March: painting

Over the course of about five days, we finally got some paint on the stairway and upstairs hallway walls and ceiling. The hardest part was researching and deciding to buy the scaffolding. While Frank and the boys were away for a weekend campout, Charlotte and I prepped and painted the upstairs. On the following Monday, Frank and I set up the two layers of scaffolds and were able reach the highest parts to paint and replace the light fixture. Then the next day I finished painting the lower part and the entryway wall.

Blogger added the photos in reverse order to what I intended, but here's a look at March for us. Gabe's band performance, the high school band holding a bingo fundraiser, Zach shopping for and starting plants for his salsa garden, things blooming around the yard, Girl Scout cookies (booth selling and helping move and sort--our troop sold over 10k boxes!), finding all the gluten-free donuts, Charlotte painting at school, and all of us cheering Zach on at the state robotics competition.
