February happenings! Pinewood Derby, which was held on my birthday. Charlotte won first place in the Girl Scout division! Afterwards we went to IHOP for lunch. Then there were the Valentine's events: a date night and Charlotte's school party. Other things mixed in: cat curiosity and snuggles, planning to finally paint the staircase walls, and Charlotte going to a trampoline birthday party. She is also eating many fried eggs since she took that cooking class.
Activities for January: Girl Scout cookie sales, a trip to Abby's house, Zach's robotics practices/competition, swimming, a Girl Scout cooking class, Charlotte's science dissection, Boy Scout Klondike (winter campout/competition), snow tubing, and the first snow day of the year.

It was time to take the annual family photo. Last year this endeavor crashed and burned with grumpy children, and I don't remember if any outtakes were shared. This year, they insisted we include the cats, which improved the process among the humans, even though the cats were less than thrilled. I'll take it!
