July 25. Even though Frank's been spending much more time laying than sitting lately, he can still snap photos!

July 26. They are still very much into coloring, in addition to using glue sticks and Zach practicing with his safety scissors.

July 27. I took some time away from the boys to visit with my mom and Kevin and help watch Bailey. Gotta love a little one who can't move on her own yet.

July 28. This was a doubly-good eating day for us...we managed to dig our crock pot out of storage and make chili for lunch, and Grandma watched the boys while Frank and I had Outback for dinner. We love the bacon cheese fries!

July 29. Coloring and cutting and gluing took its toll on our dining room. But any mess is worth it if it keeps them occupied longer than it takes me to clean it up.

July 30. Dinner at Chili's with Will and Kristina. Zach took this photo of us.

July 31. Zach took this photo too!

August 1. These treasures have been packed away for awhile, even since before we went overseas. I didn't dig past the first layer of stuff, but I can't wait to, when we finally get settled. I'll have to see if I can find photos of me wearing those dresses...

August 3. A few photos from our Chuck E Cheese outing the other day:

August 4. The weather cooled down just long enough for us to hit the park for a little while.

August 5. Back in June I knitted and crocheted a bunch of hats for the arrival of Jen's youngest, Mia. It reminded me how much I like to have a yarn project to work on, and so I began a sock for about the fifth time (I'd never gotten very far before). I knitted during our trip to El Paso and have since finished the first one! The second is started, and maybe by the time it is comfy sock weather again I will have completed the pair.

August 6. These days I am finding great joy in having my family go off and leave me alone for an entire day. You may remember that it happened back in May (
blog post) and it was glorious. Frank took the boys to Grandma's house today...he texted me a cute picture of Zach that I'll share next time!
